Classes

All regular classes are $10~ give more if you can.

Mondays

Kundalini
8:30 – 9:30 am
Kelley Riviere

Kundalini is a combination of postures (kriya), breathing, mantra (sound) and meditation done in a specific sequence.  Each class will be different and will have a particular focus, like strengthening the immune system, opening the heart, supporting digestion, overhauling the nervous system, firing up the metabolism, releasing anger… We start by tuning in, then warming up, followed by a kriya (exercise sequence), a meditation and relaxation.

Tuesdays

Morning Flow
8:15 – 9:30 am
Renée Silvus

Begin with easy warm-ups, move into sun salutations, open into standing work, then return to the mat for a restorative cool-down and shavasana. Practice includes space for personal-choice movement within sequences, always accompanied by heartfelt, beautiful music.

Group Style Ear Acupuncture
with Lisa Ostermiller
Arrive between
11:45 am and 12:15 pm

Come get a “reset” for the body, mind and spirit.

Ear Acupuncture involves the placement of up to 5 small, sterilized disposable needles into specific sites on the ear. Then you sit or lie down quietly for about 45 minutes allowing the treatment to take effect.

Benefits include reduced cravings for alcohol and drugs, including nicotine; minimized withdrawal symptoms; increased calmness, better sleep, and less agitation; relief from stress and emotional trauma; an easier connection with counseling; and a discovery of inner quiet and strength.

Wednesdays

Move Well
10:30-11:45 am
at Jug Mountain Ranch
with Kasey Rose

Learn how to see the way you’re moving in a more nuanced way!

Each class will identify ways you move (or don’t move) your body, and how you often compensate at the expense of your health to get the job done.

Kasey teaches how to align your body well during a variety of exercises so you can start learning how to be your own personal trainer and guide yourself to moving more with greater ease and less pain. You will learn ways to move that keep you strong and feeling good so you can continue to be active and live the life you love.

These classes are appropriate for most all levels of fitness and especially suitable for active people who want to remain active.

Move better so you can move more!

Restorative with Serene
5:30 – 6:45 pm

This is a luxurious, relaxing sequence to release mental, physical and emotional tension. We begin by connecting with our breath, moving into gentle stretches and deepening into Restorative poses. These are restful and fully supported with supplied blankets, bolsters, blocks & eye pillows. I utilize chakra tuning forks, optional essential oils and hand’s on touch.

You will walk away feeling relaxed, light and refreshed.

Buti is an Indian word that means “a cure that has been hidden or kept secret.” Sattva means “enlightened one.” We are butisattvas, ones who unlock our cure from the inside through intuitive movement, cardio intensive dance, strength, conditioning and deep core work.

Bring your mat, towel, H2O and an open mindset. Everyone welcome.

She specializes in 5 Element Acupuncture which focuses on the Laws of Nature and the body’s natural ability to heal itself. You can usually find Lisa outside – either walking, hiking, paddling, gathering herbs, sketching, skiing, snowshoeing, you get the idea – anything that will get her out the door and into nature! She lives in McCall with her husband Dan and black lab Jake.

Kasey Rose

Kasey is a chore girl, a lover of the outdoors, and a connoisseur of movement. She considers herself a recovering exerciser and now pursues productive movement. She realized that if she didn’t make some changes, she was going to be facing major interventions like constant intake of anti-inflammatory drugs, surgeries such as joint replacements, and greatly limited physical activity. Kasey was NOT willing to accept these consequences and began the incredibly exciting and rewarding study of biomechanics: the workings of our own bodies. She teaches how to move in daily activities to be strong, rather than broke. She looks forward to working beside you.
